Missoni Menswear

The Massoni Menswear Fall Winter 2010 collection. I have always loved the style of Missoni, the look is so natural with a hint of boho. This season is no exception, with the wool on wool, and the pattern on pattern, I know I'm a fan! 


I want one of those scarfs... NOW.

The many and absolutely insanely crazy looks of Lady Gaga at the 2010 Grammy Awards this year... the first one was just for the red carpet, second one was for the opening performance, and the last one was just her "hanging out and watching" outfit. Oh how I love you Lady Gaga.. Your absolutely crazy!

Pull and Bear

Today I was working on a research paper for school and I came across this brand called Pull and Bear.  Its a store that was founded in 1991 and is now all over Europe, Asia, and The Middle East... And well in almost every other country you can think of except Canada and the United States! I love this brand because it looks stylish, but still very easy-going and everyday. P&B is very American casual but has an almost polished European spin mixed into it. If I could get my hands on it, I would definitely mix some of these pieces into my S/S Wardrobe!


Now the question is: When oh when will Pull and Bear be opening a store in Canada?

A gown of wonder

This is from the February issue of the amazing Dazed and Confused Magazine. If you are one of my lovely and wonderful followers of my blog, you probably saw the post I did about these gowns from Victor & Rolf's Spring Summer 2010 collection. My idea of a "traditional gown" is completely flipped upside-down! Victor & Rolf's collection was by far my favorite of all the S/S 2010 collections I have seen. 

I am really looking forward to seeing these designer teams Fall Winter 2010 collection expected to show in the next month.

Just Adorable

This commercial is so cute! I love how fun and spot on it is. The ad is for the new fragrance for french house Cacharel called Scarlett. 
I really hope it smells as cute as it looks!

Falling for the Brits...

A week or so ago, Burberry released their Spring Summer 2010 campaigns for their three lines; Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, and Burberry Brit. I have to say, what a thing of beauty! Our favorite Harry Potter alum, Emma Watson is the face of the campaign for the second season in a row. She is surrounded with beautiful boy models including her little brother Alex Watson, and lead singer of band One Night Only/model George Craig. 

"This campaign celebrates our heritage and our timeless Burberry icons. The energy of the images and the dynamic cast reflect the different attitudes and expressions of the Burberry guy and girl. We always talk about how much fun we have making these images and I wanted to capture some of the excitement that you feel on set when all these different creative attitudes and personalities come together. Mario has shot these as both stills and video so we can share some of that energy with a wider audience".  -Christopher Bailey, Burberry Creative Director.

I am so in love with Burberry, Now if only I could scrape up enough money to buy myself a jackets!

Grey Area.

Grey... I love how beautiful grey can look in an editorial such as this. Courtesy of Dazed and Confused, and the styling of Katie Shillingford, this idea has came to life. Each shade of grey, be it the silk dresses or the models hair, this idea is very eerie, but very pretty. I like how this editorial is so different and interesting then what we see everyday, this story is so simple, but so well done!

A Feminine Touch

In the dead of winter, I think we all need a bit of a reminder of how beautiful the other three seasons really are. With help from Japanese Vogue,  I know my memory has been refreshed! This editorial is so pretty and elegant, it makes me want spring to come even more now.

Rollerblade into my heart!

First of all: I feel like this is the first editorial that has made Roller-blades look Couture, and Second of all: This story makes me want to learn how to Rollerblade! (Which of course I can't, the thought of wheels attached to my feet scares me..) But this spread in Elle Italia's December issue has impressed me so much! This is such a fun and fresh idea, taking something like Roller-blades and making them look fashionable. Amazing!

The question is: Will you rock Roller-blades this spring?

Class Act.

The adorable  Gul & Blå S/S 2010 Lookbook. These photos are so refreshing! It is really nice to see a brand having fun for a change. I would love to have that denim jacket for this spring and summer... oh and you can throw in the sailor hat too!
